Kay's American Adventure

This is Kay Delorme’s American adventure. She met a man on eHarmony and set out to meet him at his home in a western US State. She rode her motorcycle to many surprises starting at the US Border where the Immigration Officers treated her as a drug courier.
Fellow bikers helped her on a critical leg of her trip after she met a fellow woman rider and they joined up riding west. Surprisingly they found themselves at the same destination.
There are sects of the Mormon Church in the western US that have practices that are unusual. Kay and her friend were caught in a cult from which there was little chance of escape.
Follow her story and discover the surprise ending.

Welcome to Futureworld

Anu and the battle for Dana

Some where far in the future mankind has recreated a new world out of the debris of the “Great Catastrophe” that destroyed all but a few pockets of survivors. Some of them were immune to the virus and others created cities where they were protected from the virus.

The people in the cities lived in luxury with access to the super computer systems that remained intact since the virus only attacked human life forms.

The city people played many games on their computer system including virtual war games that became increasingly more aggressive. The other immune survivors lived simple lives in the country providing food and crafts to the cities. They were treated poorly by the city people.

Two cities are locked in a terrible virtual war that could become a game changer. Anu, a Dalit from the country, has learned the games and has been called upon to save a neighbouring city, Dana, from destruction by the Praxion hordes.

Will he succeed?  Click to learn

March Thoughts

I joined a writing class this winter at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. One of the things I like to do is to write stories, blogs and other things. I also like photography as a hobby but this winter it is writing. The group started with about fifteen people but is down to half that as many people didn’t find it interesting or perhaps too challenging.
The students are mainly in their twenties of thirties. I am the old man in the class but it is interesting to be part of a group with common interests and to have an audience for my writings. It is fun to be with people from a younger generation. It provides an interesting view of their way of thinking and what they do. Some are recent graduates and others are working or looking for work. They think improved writing skills will them in their career.
We usually do short writing assignments during the class and then share the results in small groups. It is a fun exercise since it is necessary to think of something to write within parameters given by the teacher and then develop a story quickly in a stream of consciousness process. We do not finish and there is no time to edit. That is not a problem because we can finish and improve it as homework for the next class.
Most of what the people wrote was highly imaginative science fiction or fantasy stories or sometimes stories of the young lives. It would be natural for them to draw on these themes.
I’m rambling and this is somewhat nonsensical but I wanted to try and write what is on my mind.
My other passion is photography. I like to make pictures but even more to play with the pictures either using Photoshop or other programs to play with images. Some of them are posted on my Flicker site or  Another Flicker site.

We have recently converted our story format into a new and dramatic book with pages that turn like a paper bound book. It is unlike anything you will find on Kobo or other book readers. Interested? Oh and you don't have to download any apps or other software to read the. Not at all, they will open for you like magic.
Just click on HotelParadisus for an exciting experience and astory about two people who meet on vacation at an exotic resort and discover the meaning of love.

Here's your double header!!! Open An American Adventure, a story about two women bikers who encounter a religious sect in a western American state that practices ritual rape and multiple wives. Not for the squeamish.
Let me know in the comment box just what you think about the book and the stories.
